When the lifetime option is available, one purchase covers future BLS recertification attempts through your account. Each provider card still expires after two years, so you complete the current exam and receive a new card for each renewal cycle.

Completion time depends on your experience and how much material you choose to review. Many of our experienced learners complete BLS within one or two hours. If you’re new to the topics or want to work through all the simulated scenarios and spend more time practicing decision-making, you may take longer. The self-paced format lets you study when it fits your schedule, and you can pause and resume anytime.

You earn 4 continuing education credits after successfully completing either BLS certification or BLS recertification.

Your digital BLS provider card is available immediately after you pass the final exam. You can download the PDF, print it, and send it to your employer. The card is valid for two years from its issue date.

Your employer can verify your BLS certification by scanning the QR code on your provider card or visiting our card verification page and entering the e-card ID shown on the card. If they prefer, they can also contact us directly at support@pulsemedcert.com.
